This is not an original one, but a good one. "Disco Fries", or their relative "Poutine", are not very popular in this part of the country, so I decided to share this recipe because I love them.
Disco fries are french fries covered with melted mozzarella cheese and topped with brown gravy. The idea for them (which became popular in the eastern United States) came from the French Canadian delicacy "Poutine". Poutine is one of the most popular dishes in the French populated areas of Canada, such as Montreal. They are frites (double-fried french fries) that are covered in cheese curds and brown gravy (usually with everything homemade). This recipe is a "make-at-home" version that is very easy to make and even more yummy!
